About

headspace Port Lincoln provide free and confidential support to young people 12-25 years and their families/carers.

The supports include mental health, physical and sexual health, alcohol and other drugs as well as work and study support. They focus on early intervention and work with young people to provide support at a crucial time in their lives. 

headspace Port Lincoln also run a range of Community Engagement activities and Mental Health awareness events.

You can make an appointment by calling our office on 8621 3880 or emailing headspaceintake@cobh.org.au or completing the online referral, which can be found on our website. You can also be referred by a GP, family member, friend, school or another service provider.

headspace Port Lincoln is operated by Country & Outback Health. All headspace services are funded by the Australian Government Department of Health and Aged Care. Administration of funding is carried out by the headspace centre’s local Primary Health Network, in this case, Country SA PHN.

Services

If you live near our headspace centre in a rural area but cannot travel in to see us, you can see our mental health workers online.

GPs can help with any physical health issues as well as issues related to sexual health, drug or alcohol use, relationship problems or feeling down or upset. Your centre may have a GP on site or links to one locally. 

Workers either on site or linked to the centre who can assist you with any alcohol or other drug concern.

Mental health workers – which may include psychologists, psychiatrists, counsellors and other workers – that can help if you're just not feeling yourself.

Sexual health screenings on site or links to local services. 

Workers either on site or linked to the centre who can assist you with work or study opportunities.
